Piran rooftops view reveals the sea of rooftops at the very edge of Slovenia against the actual sea. I captured this photograph shortly after sunrise using a telephoto lens to compress the perspective of many orange rooftops, chimneys, and hidden terraces into a single photo.
To make things a little more interesting, I utilized an ND1000 filter, which somewhat smoothed the water’s surface. I think the blue and red create a nice contrast. In the upper left, the distinctive neo-gothic lighthouse tower of the Church of Our Lady of Health (also known as the Church of St. Clement) rises above the coast, marking the tip of the peninsula.
