A symmetric view of Jelení příkop tunel at Prague Castle

Jelení příkop tunel at Prague Castle reveals its striking elliptical shape in the early evening light. Though surrounded by centuries of history, this passage connecting Upper and Lower Jelení příkop (Deer Moat) is a recent addition to Prague Castle. Designed by the architect Josef Pleskot, it was built between 2001 and 2002 from bricks. The warm, low-angle glow from the integrated floor lights illuminates the rich texture of the brickwork, creating a compelling visual pathway that draws the eye directly toward the natural light at the far end.
