Cesky Krumlov Castle gateway provides the perfect natural frame for this serene morning scene captured during the golden hour. Looking through the dark archway, the composition instantly draws the eye toward the sun-drenched facade of the castle buildings on the lower courtyard. The soft, early morning light breaks through the misty background, creating a beautiful hazy glow around the distant trees while illuminating the warm tones of the tiled roof.
I used the ‘frame within a frame’ technique to emphasize the contrast between the deep shadows of the foreground and the vibrant, light-filled courtyard, which really made the shot work.
