Dramatic late afternoon light shines on Spis Chapter House and Spis Castle. Spis Chapter House is a preserved ecclesiastical town near the town Spisske Podhradie and overlooking the Spis Castle. It is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site in Slovakia called “Levoča, Spis Castle and associated cultural monuments”.
Another tribute to Karol Plicka – a Czechoslovakian filmmaker and photographer. He began to film and photograph Slovak folk culture in late 1920s and 1930s. Without his work, many of the folk costumes, traditions and buildings would be lost in one way or another.
