Cloak Bridge in Cesky Krumlov comes alive in this long exposure photograph captured during the late summer’s blue hour.
A long exposure smooths out the twilight sky, creating softly streaked clouds that contrast beautifully with the historic architecture of one of the entrances to Cesky Krumlov Castle. The deep, cool tones of the dusk sky perfectly enhance the intense, warm glow of the bridge’s lights.
The stone railing and the baroque statue of St. John of Nepomuk serve as leading lines, drawing the eye straight down the textured cobblestone path and through the archways that invite you to explore the castle courtyards even at night. Down below, the city also comes alive with the warm city lights that illuminate its historic buildings – most notably the spire of St. Vitus Church.
