The Wheel of Time
Night and TwilightThe Wheel of Time is a concept found in several religions and philosophies, which regards the time as something cyclical and repeating. The same could be said about the stars as we percieve them from Earth. Each night they perform their circuar journey around the North Star. This photo presents the 75 minute journey of the brightest stars across the northern sky. The LED flashlight was used to illuminate the tree.
Artistic liberty: during the capture, a very large satellite or International Space Station flew right across the frame, leaving a bright trail. During the post-processing, I painstakingly removed this trail to present my vision of the scene.
