Prague 2015

In June 2015, I briefly visited Prague. This was my third visit to this beautiful, but crowded city. It was also the first time I was able to shoot properly at least some of the landmarks. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, because there is so much to photograph in Prague.

The famous Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square in Prague during the twilight hour. This marvel of engineering was constructed in 1410 and it's the oldest astronomical clock that is still operational. It shows 21 different astronomic functions.

The most famous view of Prague castle and Charles' bridge about one hour after sunset. Even the seagulls lined up for this world-famous view.

Beautiful early morning on Malostranske namesti in Prague. The lone wandering Taxi took a different route than I expected. Two lovers are making out in front of Starbucks Coffee shop. The square is dominated by the Church of Saint Nicolaus. Its dome and spire are bathed in beautiful pre-sunrise light.
